We work hard to produce the best quality beef possible.
We do not cut any corners or blindly follow the hype in ensuring the safety and quality of our product; from low stress handling to feed quality and meticulous genetic selection.
Our cattle are raised on pasture right here in Parker County then finished at a great family owned feedlot during the last 120 to 180 days.
This allows the animals to properly mature and develop to reach their genetic potential without hormone implants.
All our beef comes from Braunvieh or Braunvieh cross cattle. This is an old dual purpose breed originating in Switzerland known for producing quality meat and milk in the high altitudes of the Swiss Alps on modest inputs.
Testing done at the U.S. Meat Animal Research Center (MARC) demonstrated that;
Braunvieh cross calves produced high marbling and low inputs comparable to Angus with a higher % Yield, Rib Eye Area, and lower incidence of respiratory disease than Angus.
(Snowder, et al., 2005 ; Rios-Utrera, et al., 2006)
This means we can produce comparable eating experience to Angus cattle with less waste and reduced disease incidence, reducing the need for antibiotics to care for sick animals which helps us produce the best quality beef possible for your family.
Where is your meat coming from?
US farm and ranch families take great pride in producing quality healthy products to feed our families, neighbors, and this great Nation just like we do. The US also has extensive regulations in place that ensure the safety of the food produced and minimization of any potential negative environmental impacts.
However, due to current laws since the repeal of COOL (country of origin labeling) in 2015 beef and pork that is imported from other countries and "processed" here can be labeled "product of USA".
So where is that cheaper meat at the store really from? What safety and environmental standards was it produced under?

Market Control
Four packers control 85% of the US Beef market.
“between 2015 and 2018 the spread between the cost of wholesale beef and the price paid to ranchers increased by 60%, while the top beef packers enjoyed record profits,” - Paige Carlson, Drovers, May 21, 2022
